If you sit quiet and still in the Garden of Grace, with the Golden Book before you, the Lord will reveal treasure. "Something happens when your soul sits down and has a rest. It's always quiet on the Steps leading to the Garden of Grace: sweetly quiet and the air so still and different from any other place on earth. And joy - a whispering of love that seems to be saying, 'I see you. I'm coming.' "And He always does, because it's His Book, you see. He lives in the words and He knows if we will only hand over our heart and lend our minds to the Spirit - and of course our wills to obey - He will help us find the Golden Words, in the golden hues of the morning, in the Golden Book."

ill Briscoe and her husband Stuart have worked together for over 40 years, and have three grown children and thirteen grandchildren. A native of Liverpool, Jill is a prolific writer and popular speaker, nowbased in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is author of 'Prayer that Works', 'God's Front Door' and many other books

In this book by Jill Briscoe you can read some inspirational stories to illustrate the way in which Jill communicates with God and each page has a new gem to discover.

This book does not meet my current condition. I think it might be useful for some segment of the population, just not me.

  • By mo on 29 August 2011

I knew by the title that the inside of the book would be beautiful but was not prepared for the effect if would have on me. I'm so glad that Jill Briscoe is willing to share her inmost self and conversations that she had with Jesus in a way that enabled me to find 'the Steps of my Soul'. Thank you so much Jill.

A lovely book to handle. Pictures and text great. Have given 2 of these books as gifts already which have been received favourably.

Easy to read but to the point but with depth. Jill Briscoe does this so well
